I got Sage when she was 10 months old from a friend of mine's parents. They were ready to take her to the pound because they realized that they didn't have time to raise a puppy. They had another dog who was about 3 or 4 so they thought adding another would be fine. Well when there oldest moved to California and they next oldest went off to collage in they said it was too much. They were working all day and she would have accidents. They had received her from another lady who got her at a little over 2 months. She didn't want to train her and thought she was to active so she gave her away. I had been looking into getting a dog and needed one that wouldn't bother my allergies. My friend kept saying you can have Sage so I had him bring her over so we could meet (i am very allergic to their other dog). She was very shy when they first came over but then we just hit it off. I made plans to get her in a couple of weeks. Since I got her we have been fine. She's had few accidents but that's ok she's learning. I just love her to death and know we are the perfect match for each other. She just turned 1 and I love her active little spirit. |
