I completely understand your frustration with inconsiderate and rude people!!
It totally boggles my mind why people can be like that. If i were you i would seriously tell this person " If you can't respect my house rules, my dog or me and my fiancee, then you can't visit" . Plain and simple!!! I've had someone visiting like that, and it was family. The good thing is my fiancee will go bezerk and that's it. Because he loves the dog just as much as i do. I refuse to lock away my dog for anyone. This is his house and he can do whatever he wants to do. If the people visiting don't like it then, they know where the door is!!! I'm sorry to sound so mean but that is how it is in my house!!!!
