Sounds familiar. Buddy is pretty much the same if allowed to be.
As good as he is now, he would just love to rule the roost.
I agree with you, not many, at least post about it, have had to
made many corrections with their Yorkies. Some need more
training and correction I guess. It's so important to be Alpha
all the time. Don't let him get away with anything. Stay on top
and correct whenever he needs it. It's lot's of work, challenging
and stressful at times. I had no idea just how stubburn and strong
willed these guys can be. But I've learned and I'm still learning.
Good luck and hang in there. Just like having a bad child you have to be
patient and continue teaching right from wrong. |
