I started cooking when the recalls came- I didn't want to just sit and wait for it to be our food to be recalled.
Then when Layla was diagnoised- our vet wanted us to go on canned food which I did not want to do. So i contacted a nutritionist who works with a holistic vet in California
Holistic Veterinarian Pet Nutritionist Holistic Pet Care we had a phone consult and she told us what to feed Layla- how much- that kind of thing. Layla is on a lipase supplement that I buy from her website as well as a probioitic. She is also on a multvitamin and a calcium that i get from animalessentials.com
Susan (at ask ariel) is so great and helpful. Many on here have used her. It doesn't matter WHAT nutritionist you use- you just want to make sure you use one to ensure that the meals are balanced.
