Clippers and shears questions please I am thinking about just doing my own grooming for my little one but have a few questions, most are just comparisons. I feel it's important to have all of the information I can get before going into this, so that I can be sure to get the right equipment and not having to take a bunch of wrong items back. :P So here goes..
~ I am a bit confused why people are buying clippers that are specifically for pets, what exactly is the difference (besides vibrations)?
~ Why do you need a mini clipper (like the tid-bit or peanut) for doing potty areas? Wouldn't a normal one work the same?
~ Are Andis and Wahl the only good clipper brands or does it really matter as long as they are made for pets? What are the deciding factors?
~ If regular clippers are more uneven than pet clippers when clipped, how does that happen?
~ Is uneven clip correctable if for instance you had regular clippers already? If so, how?
~ Why do you need rounded shears AND pointed shears? What is the significance of what the tip of the shears is (as in, do they have different cutting look or something)?
~ Is there anywhere I could find a cheaper grooming table with arm and lead besides the $35.99 one from petedge? |
