A tree slowly grows
Soon it towers above the rest
It is a beautiful sight to see

Trees are much like humans,
Their sap is like our blood.
We both need care and nurturing,
We also need some love.
Their roots will hold them to the ground.
Just like our feet,
They hold us down.
Their out stretched branches,
Our long arms,
They help us to stay protected from harm.
We help each other survive, you know?
We both help each other grow.
We’re a lot alike, as I hope you now see.
We have a lot of things in common,
Us and those big beautiful trees.
