Humans should never exchange toothbrushes because the bacteria that cause decay and the bacteria that cause gum disease(both are different) can literally be spread form person to person. So if it works the same on dogs, then if one of your babies is prone to decay because they have a lot of that bacteria naturally present in their mouths it would possibly spread to your other dogs. It would be a hassle but separating and labeling their brushes would be the most ideal.
