Thanks for all your replies, we just got back from the Vet and low and behold it was a $49.00 scratch, how in the world the boy got a scratch on the back of his neck I do not know they said perhaps when he was playing with other dogs. They cleaned it up with peroxide and sent us on our way. She said the scab will fall off in about a week and there is nothing to worry about. God they can scare the heck out of us
