I you are really worried about her, get a bile acid test done. They do a fasting test, then let them eat and do another blood test in 2 hours. It
is not an expensive test, and it would help you know about a liver shunt.
The size of the parents does not always matter to the pup. Plus some
breeds do not tell the whole truth about parent size. Did you see the parents? My fur baby had a liver shunt, she had surgery to fix it.
