Pink harnesses and leads for my girls, and a blue harness and lead for my boy. Well, needless to say, that didn't work, even after I explained it a few times. You know, the pink is for girls, blue is for boys thingy. Long hair overrules all.

My problem with pink: I used to think it was unnatural. But if you look around, it's everywhere. I don't know how many pink flowers there are, and I've always liked flowers: all colors even the pink ones. Since I've gotten into photography, I've taken many shots of sunrises and sunsets, especially on the water. Of course, there's a lot of pink in those shots. There's even pink sand in the Bahamas! How could I be against something so natural? So I slowly began accepting pink into my life. It's not worth fighting it. Just learning to choose my battles....

I'm thinking too: Only girls dress their girls.

Oh, and congrats to your team winning!
Thanks for the pink lesson! You're right. It's a great and natural color. It would help if I was a little more color-coordinated myself. My wife is constantly telling me NO! when I grab a combination for myself that is taboo.

I'm actually OK with the color, but I don't go shopping looking for pink. I go looking for something that's going to keep them warm and dry. If it's pink, I'll get it. But as it's turned out, most of what I've run across hasn't been pink.

I definitely worry too much about what other people think of my little dogs, but a big part of it is society. I think the majority think that little dogs aren't dogs. They see Paris Hilton carrying hers around in her purse and think everyone gets them as an accessory. I actually had a woman walk by me in Petco last week and sniff "That's not a dog," as I was walking Jillie. I'm able to laugh that off because I know better, she doesn't.

I fell so head over heels in love with Eddie that I felt I owned it to him to show people what amazing dogs Yorkies are. Dressing them up in anything but warm attire doesn't bring the results I'm looking for.

That's not to say I don't appreciate a well-groomed and well-dressed Yorkie. I love all the YT Yorkies, but then again, I'm a MWOAWSFDALI.
