Animal Smiley 036 Newbie saying hello with her two devils

Hello all,

Just found this great site. Myself and my parents have had yorkies for many years now. At the moment my Mum and Dad have Ford, a little boy who is 2 1/2 years old now and I have Shelby and she is 7 months old (I am a car nut hence the names)

Shelby (7 months old) is the black one and Ford (2 1/2 years old) is grey.

However I have a question about my little devils...

Now I always thought there were only two types of Yorkie. Minature and Standard (please correct me if wrong). I have always thought that Ford was a Standard but you might be able to tell from the pics that Shelby is slightly larger than him. I have had them both on the scales and Ford is 7lbs with the hefty Shelby weighing in at 12lbs She is a thicker set dog and her legs are a lot thicker than Fords.

Can anyone tell me is this normal? She is not fat and is only 7 months old. I also thought she might have lost her colour by now?

Cheers

Avril
