I just checked her temp again and it read 97.7; I checked a second time to be sure and yes still 97.7. Wow!  That's really low, is it too low? I've never heard of a temp. dropping that low. She's not acting any differently (other than the pre-labor signs she's been showing for the past several days). ??? Yikes! Let me give you her temp. history this past week. We started checking on Monday like twice a day, it started at around 100.8 and fluctuated between that and 100.2 until around Wednesday or Thursday when it dropped to around 99.5-99.6. It went between the 99's to 100's until Friday afternoon, when it has stayed between 98.9- 99.4. Now this morning (this is after she ate, mind you), it's the 97.7. Has anyone else had a dog's temp. drop so low before????  |
Yep! It's getting to a dangerously low point. I'd contact your vet.
