You are absolutely right, most people have no clue about CAFO's and the horrid conditions in which the animals are kept. Most pigs from Smithfield live in a 4x4 stall all of their miserable tortured 6 months of life. They are fed antibiotic cocktails at an alarming rate. MRSA is a constant threat to the immigrants who normally man the stalls. Most pigs are insane at the end of 6 months; as they are social intellectual creatures being imprisoned and literally driven crazy by it.

As you have stated cattle and chicken are no better. Their CAFO's are just as horrendous for them as it is for the humans living around their containment. Cancer and MRSA are a constant threat for those neighbors.

Until the American Sheeple wake up and stop buying into this torture then it will persist. I am practically vegetarian as well. When I buy meat I try to make sure that it is from a humanitarian organic farm. I refuse to support what is being allowed to happen.
