Why don't you just go to prey model raw? If things are really tight, you could run an ad on Kiiji or craigs list. I've gotten ALOT of free meat that way. And be sure to tell friends and relatives not to throw out any freezer burnt meat as you could feed it to your dogs. And I look for sales. I rarely pay more than $1 a lb for their food.
