Did his personality change at all? did he get fat? how old was he when you got it done? do you have any pictures i could see of your little one? .. i know its a lot of questions but i would really appreciate all the information you could give me.

PS.. i am not planning on breeding him are anything i am just concerned about his health and wellbeing and would like to do the best thing for my little man. I have read some horror stories, and i have also read the health risks of nueturing.. please help!

Hi,

I had my baby neutered at 8 months, only because I had a female in heat at the time. His disposition changed, but only for the better. He is more loving and calm. I was told by my vet that yorkies mature very slowly. So, I would probably wait until he is 8 or 9 months old so he can tolerate the anesthesia a little better.
Thank you! i actually wouldnt even get him fixed because im scared to hurt him but i too have too female yorkies, both arent fixed so when they get into heat there will be a problem which is why i have to get him fixed ... but i will def. wait till he matures because i want him to get through it and come out a little trooper..
