My daughter (Suz) says they all have "selective hearing"!!! They hear when they want to. I think some of the kids in our family (both human and canine) have it. Even my elderly Queensland Heeler has it. But they do seem to be able to learn their names quickly. When I first got Rowdy he had a name that I didn't like (he was nearly 3 years old) and I started calling him Rowdy because it seemed to fit. It only took a few days for him to know his name. |
