She only 8 oz. and I was wondering if there is anything that I should maybe know about them when their that young and small. I just want to make sure she gets everything she needs. I took her for her vet checkup that friday and everything was fine with her and the vet said it was the smallest puppy he had seen at her age. If anyone has any advise for me I would love to have it. you need to monitor her eating every meal. My yorkie was eight weeks old when I got him and in perfect health or she wouldn't have let him go. he only weighed nine ounces. I have had a horrible time getting him to eat. i give him Nutrical two or three times a day to ward off hypoglycemia. he has adjusted wonderfully. From the minute I picked him up in my arms the day I brought him home, he has acted like he has been mine all his life. He was pee pad trained and eating VERY well when I got him. he forgot about the pee pad for a few days but is doing well now. he is just a very picky eater. I have spent a small fortune on puppy food and a member here even sent me some but he would have no part of it. My vet couldn't believe my baby's small size either. He is three and a half months old now and his last weight was 1.7.
