Keeley is a lazy little guy. When we first got him at 10 weeks, he would wake up around 8:30-9 am. And now that he is older he'll sleep in as late as possible. There are even mornings when he acts all put out if we wake him up "too early". He'll snort at us and go under the blankets.
But lately since he has been getting the pukies in the AM I have been waking him up about 5:30 to give him a little snack and then he goes right back to bed until our wake up time (usually around 9:30).
On the weekends we will sleep in until 11:00 sometimes, and he still out sleeps us.
The breeder told us that he loves his sleep at night and loves his play in the day. (He doesn't nap much durring the day).
It is funny how they all are so different. My parents are amazed that I found a dog that loved to sleep as much as I do. I love sleeping in when I can... |
