So I shop at this incredible health food store for Snickers. I get everything he eats there and Jill, the owner is just SPECTACULAR. It's called The Pet Beastro and it's in Madison Hts MI. If you live in the Metro Detroit Area--check it out!!!!
So I told her about Snick's recent LP surgery and how I wanted to give him an extra special treat and she recommended that I try TRIPE. She gave me lamb freeze dried tripe disks. I took it home and gave Snick a little nibble and he went BANANAS!!!! He almost started drooling!!! It's incredible and apprently extremely good for him. Snick is already on a raw diet and this is an add on. She also gave me freeze dried turkey hearts (I know! VOMIT!) and he liked those too!!
The tripe was not stinky at all, I guess the fresh tripe smells like dead people!! LOL!!
YAY!!! He now gets some every time he takes his meds since it is so unbearable for him, I want him to know he gets an extra special treat afterward! Giving him meds is like world war II!!! Poor guy!! So happy I can treat him extra special after his surgery!!
