Piper always sleeps under the covers. I put a blanket over my comforter and when we first go to bed Piper will go under the blanket on top of the comforter. She'll be snugged up against my legs. During the early morning she"ll come out from beneath the blanket and want under my covers. I just lift them up and she runs right under them and snugs up against my chest. She'll stay there until the alarm goes off. When she hears the alarm she comes out and I'll hit the snooze and then she goes back under the covers. She'll keep doing that until I actually get up. She is content to stay in bed under the covers until I'm ready to get up.
