This is very normal, especially if this is a maiden bitch with her first litter. She's whelped the first one and the 2nd is coming fast behind....she's preocupied with her own pain. The best thing to do is dry the pup, administer a couple of drops of NutriDrops into the gums and keep it warm and away from mother until she's done with the 2nd whelp......Once she's done with the 2nd she should calm down enough to take care of both, that is unless she has another close behind. Then repeat the same procedure that you did with the first one......The main thing is to keep the pups safe....mother maybe jumping around.
