Does the puppy feel cold to the touch? If so, then try putting it in a box with a heating pad on low, place this pad under a towel so as not to get too warm.
But for now, I would try to stay calm as of now, since there's so much going on the mom might not want to feed for a while. How many pups is she having, is labor done right now? If not, then wait until labor is over and then see how mom handles the puppies. But just take a deep breath and wait this out.
Hey Mary, didn't even see that you had responded. We both said kinda the same thing though.
