Didn't you say that your girl just had a litter, please help me remember. If so, it could be very normal......Some females do lose coat after whelping....hair thins out. My concern would be if she had an allergic reaction to placenta fluids then there is a possibility of a staph infection.....
In that case antibiotics should take care of it within about 10 days and then you'll see a gradual return of coat.
