I have 3 right now and there are definitely more in my future. I don't think having 3 is much different care-wise, than having two.
The only thing that bothers me a little is that the more you get, the harder it is to take them all with you when you go somewhere (if that's what you like to do), so you have to take turns with them. That's where I have to agree with the previous poster (Patti) that having 4 is even better because then one never has to be left home by themselves.
