Yep, been there!

Before you bathe them, sprinkle a bunch of Corn Starch in all of the areas where they are greasy -- rub it in, be generous w/ it, let it sit there for a couple minutes. Then just bathe as usual. Should get it out. The corn starch "attaches" to the grease - and this in turn gives something for the shampoo and water to "attach" to. Otherwise the greasiness just repels everything and a lot of it is still there after the bath if you don't use the corn starch.
