Sounds like it. I have a Linksys Wireless N router but we seem to think we have to be cutting edge here and we had some issues with reception in my 2 story house. I recommend to my friends to get a Wireless G router, that is a better value for your dollar, unless you can get a Wireless N for about the same price. I like my Linksys, but haven't really heard anything bad on any of the others. I had a Belkin before that I liked, my son inherited that one when he moved out.
