My post is deja vu. I accidentally put this post as a reply to someone else's post thinking I was making a new post. Then made another new post here. I will get the hang of this sooner or later

Yes he does "go"inside unless I watch him carefully. Also he has begun tearing up the puppy pad I put in his playpen and flinging the waste around the pen! If I leave food and water bowls in there they get flung too! He also chews the carpet under the pen.

If I were to crate him during the day, do I leave food and water? Doesn't that encourage him to do his business in the crate? Friends I know do not leave food and water in the crate.
