I have a little girl whose fontanel didn't close until she was over a year old but it was just the small hole in the top of her head, she's 3 now. I have another little girl whose fontanel was bigger than that but it hasn't healed yet and she is over a year old. It isn't as big as when she was little, it's just that hole in the top of her head. I attribute her head healing so well to giving her raw goats milk when her mother lost her milk.
The oldest one and the youngest one, Jewel and Crackhead, have the same father but different mothers. Candy, the one in the middle had both a different mother and different father. Sylvia
