Pour hot water over butter. Stir in powdered milk, salt & egg. Add flour half cup at a time. Knead for a few minutes to form stiff dough. Roll out, cut into bone shapes. (I got a dog bone cookie cutter from Joanne Fabrics.) Bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes or until firm. They are fun to make and Louis loves them.

Sounds good. I will have to give them a try. Thanks for sharing!
