 Concerned
Hi,
I have been helping my elderly parents with thier yorkie Beba who has goner into labour today. She is 62 days today so ready for the pups the problem I have is that she started whelping this morning at 7am with the water sack coming out and breaking (our first ever pregnancy so wasnt sure about that bit) now all has gone rather quiet, she is still having contractions but no signs of puppies as yet. 10 hrs later! I have called a friend who is an expert and she thinks everything is ok just giver her time. Beba is a very placid dog who loves to be around humans so she will not leave us or give birth anywherte alone. can anyone tell me if there is a time limit I leave before I realy panic and call the vet. She seems fine, not distressed at all but it is her first time so not sure will be able to do whats supposed to be natural! help! x |
