I had that problem with an 11 week old-2 lb Maggie May. She would climb up the back of the sofa and jump off! (it is at least 40" tall!) anyhow, another yt'r suggested putting aluminum foil. It worked! Granted, my living room looked terrible but at least she didn't go up there anymore.
However, now, that is where they get harnessed and dressed when we go out. Also that is where they sit when I leave for work. But they are older now. 18 mos and 2 1/2 years. They don't jump off the back either, they go back down the front. So I guess she learned not to jump from the foil. Good luck. |
