Can he get off the bed himself? IOW, do you have doggie stairs so he can get down to a pee pad if he needs to go? When mine were still small, they weren't allowed on the bed until they used the stairs regularly and knew where the bedroom piddle pad was. When they knew that, they could come up on the bed. Now, if they have to go in the middle of the night, they can get off the bed by themselves and use the pad as necessary.
If he can't get off by himself and he has to go, he has no other choice but to use the comforter. It's a thought, at least. |
