hmmm. I guess we are a casserole kind of family considering our menu we have every year. We have a large family and go to my brother and sister in laws since there house is largest. We have Turkey, and ham, cornbread dressing (stuffing), mashed potatoes gravy, yeast rolls, corn casserole, party potato casserole, green been casserole, and what theres more...broccoli and cheese casserole and last but not lease sweet potato casserole.....and tons of desserts, homeade cinnamon rolls (no clue why just became a tradition), cheesecake, pumpkin, pecan pie, tons of cookies and I make cupcakes and decorating the with fall stuff and put the on a cupcake tree.....it looks so cute and the little kids love them.
Its funny because all of the casseroles listed the same person brings the same casserole every year. There is normally 25-33 people every year just depending who's kids are in town that year. There are always plenty of leftovers so everyone gets to take food home. It is always so much fun, he has home movie theatre so all the kids go in there and watch movies after we eat. While the guys watch football and the girls all get to talk and go over the black friday ads. |
