I called the ad and they were all sold.
The lady was very nice. She had two litters with this little momma and she had two "perfect" babies in each litter she said. No open fontenelles or anything. She had her spayed after the second litter.
She sais her vet told her that as long as the male is smaller than the female the it is okay to breed that small. She kept one from each litter but she is not sure she is going to breed the little girl she kept because she has too much trouble giving up the pups. She falls in love with them and she says she's too old to keep any more. LOL
If I were breeding I would want to make sure there was "no chance of a throw back" from somewhere down the pedigree line but the theriogenologists (reproduction specialists) don't seem to think it is a problem either. |
