Newborn puppies are not yet able to regulate their own body temperatures and feeding a cold puppy will do more harm than good as they can not digest it when cold. Keep puppy on a heating pad covered by a towel. I prefer Lectro pads. The puppy's temperature should be around 97 degrees. Never feed a puppy who is 94 degrees or lower.warm them up first.
