My husband and I both work all day. I work 8:30 to 4:30, and my hubby works 7:00-3:30. I go home at noon and let Sophie out and give her a treat, but there are times when she has had to be home alone all day. She has done very well. She is 8 y/o and has established a good routine. Although I have taken her to work with me and let her sleep on the couch in my office, she really is happy to go home. She loves sleeping on top of the pillows on our bed, and we find her there when we get home. She seems to just adapt to our schedules and knows what to expect.
