Do you have a regular grooming table with a noose on it? Usually dogs will stand pretty good to be groomed once they get use to the grooming table. The nails are easier to cut also if the pup is on the grooming table with a noose on it's head. For really squirmy dogs I sometimes will just walk around with them and cut their nails while that are distracted. For the really really squirmy dogs I have my husband hold them.
