I was training Uni with plain old kibble when she was about 4 months. HAHAHA she didn't know what a treat was until she was over a year old!

But you can use bits of cucumber, carrot, tomato, hard boiled egg white, tiny bits of string cheese. I have noticed though, that once we started giving Uni tastier treats, she would just forget we were training and just whine to get at the treat. That's why we just used kibble when she was a baby. Now she understands when we are in "training" mode, but in the baby stage, it's just "OMG what is that? I want more! so yummy!" and she wouldn't listen.

good luck!
