I'm blessed because although my husband works long hours he works near home and has the flexibility to come home and spend time with Sadie during the day. My vet did tell me though that a dog will adjust to the owners schedule. If you are gone all day they will use that time sleeping and be ready to go when you get home. He said that the main thing is that if you are gone all day they need you to be home in the evenings and giving them attnetion. As long as you can do that they really are pretty adaptable! |
