We've encountered cats on our walks before. Kaji is such a puppy that he goes right over sniff and play bows then bounces around like a bunny. When the cat did nothing Kaji went right up to his face as to say, "hey buddy what's wrong? don't you want to play?" Of course the cat took the opportunity to swat his face because he was standing still. Luckily he was to fast to get hit, but I don't let him walk up to cats anymore.
He tried to be nice but the cat was not having it.
