This is a great article on tearing and staining, and why some products work for some dogs and not others. Just remember that there are many things that cause excessive tearing. but how do you know if its too much alkaline or acid? My dogs have red staining around thier mouths, eyes and feet (from licking them) and I pretty much think its from the food. (it started about 2 weeks ago) Is the ph to high in the food for them? Ive tried the ACV and didnt get any results other than them killing my grass when they peed and not drinking the water that I put it in. I have put them back on the angel eyes untill I can figure out what is causing all the staining. I appreciate any input you have.. TIA
