Well let's see, what can I tell you about this week in Oscar's life? Oscar's 11th week included his first halloween. Tried as I might to make him an
"Oscar" Mayer Weiner costume, it didn't work out............he just kept walking right out of it (obviously too big for him
)! Still wanting to include him in the costume festivities, I tried using a little pumpkin hood/hat from a previous years' costume, but that wouldn't stay on long enough for a picture either. So I had to settle for the pics of him with the halloween "toys" posted on last weeks update.
Also, last Saturday was bath day for my trio; while in the process I figured why not give Oscar his 1st bath too. If I would have had 3 hands I would have gotten some pictures, but alas, I only have two
. I must say though, he did VERY well with his first experience being all wet. He didn't really squirm much at all & only tried to climb up my apron to get out a couple of times. No squirming while I rinsed him, no shivering from fright or cold...............he did GREAT!
Sunday brought wonderful spring-like weather with temps in the mid 70's!!!!! It was too beautiful not to enjoy, so Oscar got his first outside, back yard playtime. He wasn't quite sure what to think of the grass at first, but once he did...............watch out everyone else! He was running and romping around with the best of them and LOVED IT! If the weather predictions hold true for this coming weekend, we might be able to do it again.
Other than that, Oscar is enjoying life as one of our own for now. He knows when it's meal time joining the others at my feet while I get it ready and knows that there is always an after meal treat coming. Ooooo...... he loves those yorkie yummies!
When the right time (and person) comes along, someone is going to be very lucky to have this special little boy to call their own.
