I hope someone can give me a quick suggestion. I am leaving in a few minutes to go to petsmart. My little louie has been really itchy lately. Its been going on for about 2 weeks now, but seems to be getting a little worse. He has some scaley skin patches on his tail under his hair....it is hard to see but when i moved the hair away i could see it a little....it just looks red and there are flakes on his hair around the area where he has been scratching at it. I also noticed that he has a few scaley bumps in other places on him way under the hair. Also, when I brush him lately I am noticing more hair in the brush. I kinda figured i was maybe washing him too much....like every 3 days or so....but it seems like i have to do it that much because his hair is looking really messy after 3 days even with constant brushing...his coat just doesnt seem the same. Right now i am using "veterinary formula puppy love shampoo" and have been since I got him at 4 months old......although I do wash him more now than then. Does anyone have any suggestions on any really great shampoo's and or conditioners that i could get from petsmart so i can give this poor baby some relief from his itchy skin? thank you so much!
