Right, it's a little confusing isn't it? I'm saying that the non-edible ones are safe for small dogs because they are made from hard rubber and it's impossible to break off a small piece. Maybe they wouldn't be safe for a power chewer, or a bigger dog that could break off a piece. The edible ones, as you have learned, are really not completely digestible, so they are not safe for yorkies, in my opinion.
