Which led me to think. In today's world...would a vet actually euthanize a completely healthy puppy...just because a breeder (who wanted to keep an off color pup a secret) instructed him to do so?  |
Yes, the breeders still take miiss marked puppies to be euthanized at the vets.
White boxers and I forget the color of the collies that are put down all the time. My sister (a vet tech), once took three of the white boxer puppies home and raised them from a few days old, two of which unfortunatley died from parvo before they were 8 weeks old, but Joey lived a long, healthy life!
