I got all the matts out (and it was pretty bad, on her tummy and legs) or should i not say anything since i got them out.... or maybe their baby just getts matts every day? I dog sit and groom.

It's very easy. Just tell them that while brushing their puppy you noticed several matts on her tummy (pups do get matts). Ask them if they brush her every night and what brushes they use. I usually tell my clients how difficult it is on the puppy to work out matts, how painful it is, if not done properly and the possibility exits that when the pup is taken to the groomer they'll shave the puppy down.

Some people just don't know or they are afraid of hurting their pup, until you explain the alternatives.....show them how.
