(1) Orijen (grain free) would be a good one to be shipped or Acana. They sell small .88 lb bags so you could try samples before getting the bigger bags. Both are grain free.
(2) Right now Max is eating Natures Variety Prairie Line. I have heard that the Instinct Grain Free line is very good.
(3) I am getting ready to try Life's Abundance because I got a puppy from Breny and (after he is settled in out home) I need to slowly transition him to foods I currently feed. May end up loving LA and stick with it. Who knows.
I am with others in that the dog food review sites are just one person's opinion. It is easy to find out on here what is "good" in your dogs food but even then others still love foods like Royal Canin for their dogs.
In the end it is all about what works best for your dog.
My number one priority is nice firm poops. I know that sounds silly but I got tired of cleaning my pups but from runny soft stools that he gets on some foods.
