Good day,

I have a Yorkie that has blocked ears. As in the ears channel is swollen shut. We suspect that this is due to allergies and as such have drastically changed her diet and am trying to give her as much exercise as possible.

The vet wants to perform an operation called a "Total ear Ablation", which really seems barbaric.

Has anyone had similar problems and if so what did you do. I cannot tell you how distressing it is and at the moment I am just trying to get as much info as possible before we take such drastic steps.
