I did post under Sick and I apologize for double posting...An updated - Lily ate her evening portion of food and she vomit again this time the whole food, but before that she was playing with Maya and went to sleep. I'm assuming she threw up because she was jumping all over the place. After that she went back to get more food and now she is fine. Someone posted on the other thread that they do that because they are hungry, and that they are only 11 1/2 weeks they should be given food 4 times a day.
I can't belive the Vet nurse told me to stop giving her wet food and only give her dry food 3 times a day. I don't think that is enough. I have been giving them Ceasar for puppies - one can per both puppies. Lily is 2.5 lbs and Maya is 2 lbs. Can anyone tell me how much food they should be given? On the Ceasar pack it says 3/4-2 trays per 5 lbs of body weight twice a day so I've been giving them half a tray each twice a day... Please note that I have dry food for them at all times incase they want to eat when I'm not around. Also, the vet nurse told me that I should only be giving dry food (currently using Royal Canin Minidog) to help their teeth grow. I'm assuming she is right but for babies that are so young I think dry food in not enough. Is there another good canned food for puppies that you guys would recommend ??? Please help. I want to make sure my girls are getting the right amount of food and are not getting sick. Thanks everyone
