She breeds mixes, and no reputable breeder does this, the idea behind breeding is to be able to predict with confidence what kind of puppy you will produce, when you mix breeds, you have no idea what you'll get, and the dogs often wind up in shelters. Another thing that shows she's not a good breeder is that you can win a puppy in a contest; no reputable breeder would ever do that. What if the person who wins the contest can't provide a suitable home? Reputable breeders are very careful about puppy placement, and try to only place puppies in homes where people meet certain requirements. Please look elsewhere for a dog. I always recommend people check out how the dogs are being raised in person, buying over the Internet, is no different than buying from a pet store.
Thank you and everybody else for their comments. I appreciate it, I agree with what you said but for your last statement, I disagree. There are reputable breeders here on YT. Has anyone dealt with Amazing Yorkies (Deb Sillers) or Sweet Yorkies (Stephanie Litherbury)? Any reviews about that? I've heard great things about them, but never actually dealt with them before. I've spoken to some YTCA breeders and it's either they don't have a dog available or they're pretty far from me, I don't have a car.
